More than 150 people attended the grand opening of the Si Lewen Art Museum on Sunday, November 15, 2009, at the IIRP Graduate School in Bethlehem. Guests toured the exhibit spaces dedicated to displaying the artwork of 91-year-old internationally known artist Si Lewen, and heard him speak about his personal and creative journey— one that spans over eight decades. IIRP president Ted Wachtel also spoke of the special relationship between Lewen and the institute and of its commitment to giving the public the opportunity to “rediscover” this remarkable artist.
